I start at one corner of the house and know the first line is Δx by 20'. Next line is Δy by 10', next line is Δx by 2', and Δy by 2' (45 deg angle).... Can this be done? ...

I don't understand how this pane extends beyond the bottom of the screen.
To extend it, you have to drag it from the lower right corner.
The pane doesn't extend itself.
