I wonder if it would be good if you weren't able to open multiple copies of the same drawing. When you have a lot of drawings open it's actually quite easy to have more than one copy open and work on the "wrong" one by mistake.

When a new drawing is opened, I can check the names of open drawings and add an alert if its name is the same as one already opened.

That would be great I think.

It could perhaps have an "Open anyway" button so that one could open two (or more ....) copies if wished.

Edit: It's perfectly possible of course to have two or more drawings with the same name (with the same or different contents), in different folders. So one might indeed want to be able to open more than one at the same time.
