Re: Saving files
I was talking about the iPad as well. Every program you start leaves something in memory (not sure of the full details as I'm not an iPad programmer). If you double click the home button you will see a list of 'running' programs. Hold down on one and you can 'delete' it from the running list. Regards

Re: Layer Control
Eric
I'm trying to send you a file that does not render correctly in RealCADD, but I can't see how to attach a file to the forum or a private message.
I've now found that some arcs do render, but not all. It could be that 360 degree arcs don't appear.

Re: Layer Control
Thanks.
On the subject of realCADD, I've found that drawings exported from iPocket Draw viewed in realCADD don't show any arc objects. I've only tried the demo version of realCADD, is this a restriction?

Re: Rotate
Hans
I suspect Eric has not done this because freehand rotation would not be very precise. Freehand dragging is OK because you can snap to a grid point or point on another object.

I've also had the program disappear, but also had the same thing happen in Safari as well. I have found thing improve if you shut down all other program's before using iPocketDraw.

Layer Control
Eric I'd like to suggest another relatively simple improvement. Could you add the layer field to the object inspector? This would allow you to easily check which layer you had drawn something on and correct it if required. At present I can get round this buy making the correct layer active selecting...

Thanks so much for adding the move option. This is making editing drawings so much easier.

Re: Scale Factors in iPocket Draw
trikerider This can definitely be done. I imported a JPEG of a bicycle and then set the scale so that lines drawn over the image measure correctly. The way I did this was: Start with a scale factor of 1:1 Draw a line between two points of known distance apart. In your case this would probably be the...

Move
Really enjoying iPocket Draw, but I can't find a way to move an object using dx and dy other than using Duplicate and Move and then deleting the original. Is this correct?
