Re: Dimensioning an angled line.

Bonjour Eric, I was able to apply it after discovering the method as you described here. I was thinking I could place the dimension closer to the line measured. I'm still learning the program and enjoying it. I'd like to be able to make a template or templates to use at the start of new drawings. Th...

Re: Dimensioning an angled line.

Eric, I think the program is great, I left a feedback yesterday.

I made a simple drawing of three lines forming a right triangle explaining what I was asking.

Merci,

Dimensioning an angled line.

Hello all,

I don't seem to be able to dimension a line at an angle. Did I turn off a preference by mistake?

The more I learn the better it gets. This is a great program! :D

Re: Fractional dimensions

Eric, thank you, merci, Just 5/16". If a line or dimension is longer than an inch then it would be 1' 0" or 1'1" for example. If you want to express feet and inches, such as five feet, seven and one quarter inch, type on keyboard: 5'7.25 or, alternatively, 5'7-1/4" in fractional ...

Re: Fractional dimensions

Bonjour Eric,

These are two pictures of just lines that are dimensioned to show the zero in front of a fraction. At an inch or greater the zero place is taken by 1,2,3 etc.. A fraction less than a an inch the zero is in that place.

Re: Fractional dimensions

Forgot to add, I use an iPhone 4GS. Anyone else notice that 0, zero?

Fractional dimensions

When I switched to fractional from metric I get a 0 in front of the fraction. In metric it is 0.50, in inch it is 0 1/2. There is no need for the 0. Are there any settings that can change it or is it a program error?

Re: Chamfer tool

Hello, On the iPhone it selects the best definition. I cannot select Levels like a computer. I found that the chamfer tool only works with the constrained line. I am able to use it. It doesn't work on a triangle or square object. In other words I can't chamfer a corner of a square object. I did figu...
