transparency
Hi Eric One thing I have found is that if you give a texture transparency (say 50%) and then do a save, then close, when you re-open the file, transparency has reverted to 100%. Same applies to hatches. A way around this is to convert the texture or hatch to lines, then apply transparency, then grou...
Re: parallels
Hi Eric
No worries
I'll just go on doing it in 1mm or 2mm increments when I get a problem line – this seems to work perfectly out to any distance and it's quite quick to do.
Many thanks
George

parallels
Hi Eric I hope you had a good walking holiday in Ireland! One thing I have been meaning to ask for a long time. When I draw a parallel to a polyline sometimes bits of the parallel line stay "stuck" to the original line. See attached jpg example. That is a 20mm parallel polyline. If I do it...

Have a great time Eric – I hope it doesn't rain too much! There's always the pub to retire to if it does! Best. George

Re: RealCADD 4.21b4
I think it would be in preferences and it isn't!! Having worked with macs (and apples before that) for more than 30 years – it never bothers me. 000 is always top left, +x is rightwards and +y is down. BUT I have to say that on ClarisCad (the iconic and now discontinued mac 2D CAD program) you could...

Re: RealCADD 4.21b4
Hi Kasper I probably didn't describe it very well – but I used to be able draw a line so that it finished exactly on another line (or rectangle etc) – and when it was exactly there a little 's' cursor appeared, so that I knew it was exactly there. Now it seems a bit uncertain and I don't get a good ...

Re: how to stretch a rectangle by mouse operation?
Only trouble is we seem to have lost the old attraction to a line - or at least it's become a bit unreliable! So I'm hoping Eric will fix that. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
