Ah - I know how to do that ok! I have several of them already for other menu items.
I thought you had provided a means to do that directly through RealCADD! I can see now that having tools as a menu item allows you to do that!
No problem.

Re: RealCADD 5.40
Hi Eric
I can see the new menu but I don't understand how you can configure a keyboard shortcut??
It sort of repeats right-clicking on the drawing space doesn't it?

Re: Help!!
Ah - that did it – it had retracted and was hiding under the dock, right over to the left of the screen.
Thanks Eric!

Thanks Eric!

Re: Help!!
And it does appear to be very much faster with the M1 chip – though it's hard to tell without a Tools menu!

Help!!
Hi Eric So I installed RealCADD on my other laptop (which has an M1 chip) to see if PDF extracts worked faster, and entered my registration number etc. All good, RC knows it's me. But the Tools window won't show!!!!! All the rest are there OK. And go away if I deselect them. If I use a keyboard shor...

v. 5.40 slow
Hi Eric With complicated drawings – specially (maybe only?) with those extracted from a PDF – v. 5.40 is very slow. Almost unusable at times. So, after I extract a drawing, I revert to using v. 5.31 which is much faster on the same extracted drawing. Maybe there should be a means of turning the PDF ...

Re: RealCADD 5.40
Hi Mike! Nice to hear from you. I built a Murphy bed recently in our apartment here and I spent a lot of time looking on your site. Because you use them I also used Create a Bed metalwork etc., and it indeed indeed excellent. My floor was 2" out of level in the length of the bed (I built a hori...

RealCADD and ClarisCad
Probably not much call for this!! But if you can save a legacy Claris drawing to PDF (by using Apple Print function) you can then convert it to a fully functional RealCADD drawing by using the PDF >> Extract from a PDF ... function. All that I've tried have been remarkably accurate. I have many hund...

Re: RealCADD 5.40
Hi Eric Great - downloaded just fine now! I have two PDF's that RealCADD can't extract – both are scans of a document. I've tried opening them in Preview and then exporting them again as a PDF (this works when Adobe won't print properly, which seems to be quite common!), but that didn't make any dif...

Re: RealCADD 5.40
Hi Eric
I've just realized that I only have v. 5.32b9 – The zip file for v. 5.40 on the download page seems to actually open as v 5.31??
