Re: Parallel
So I just stick with specifying both direction and then delete the one I don't want. George When you do this, you enter the number and distance AND check the boxes for both Parallel in/left and Parallel out/right, correct? And then, delete the extra line? Seems like a lot of extra steps... And how ...

Re: Stretching an object
Move Points helps considerably! Many thanks.
Can it be done by dragging, or only by entering numbers?
It would be nice if selected points were shown (or is this an option that I haven't found, yet?)

Re: Stretching an object
George, what about this scenario: i draw a rectangle. Using the parallel tool, I create another rectangle within the first. Can I move the two lines together, maintaining the distance between them? This is a fairly common need for me. I would draw one of those to represent a cabinet door, but I woul...
Re: Parallel
I think, if it's no different from a programming standpoint, I would prefer to pull the line, then enter the distance.

Re: Feature requests
Tap 7 times? I might as well use the mouse.
Maybe move the Length box to the top.

Re: Stretching an object
So I leave it as a rectangle: not break it into lines. Thanks.

Scaling? Videos? Tutorials? HELP?
I don't get scaling, at all. I don't need 1/50 as a default, since most of what I build is about 12 feet wide, and 8 feet high. When I start by drawing a rectangle, and specify the size at 36 inches by 96 inches, it appears on my screen at about 1/4 inch by 1/2 inch. When I zoom in, the line gets th...

Feature requests
It would be nice if there was a keystroke command, like ESC, to default back to the selection tool. This is present in a number of other programs. I would love it if, after drawing a line of undetermined length, the program defaulted to the edit box, with the cursor in the LENGTH space. This would m...

Centering my drawing
I am used to CMD+F resizing my drawing to the screen size, and centering it. RC doesn't do that. I assume the centering parameter algorithm is different (probably resetting to 0, 0, or something). Is there a command I can use to get what I want?

Stretching an object
I draw a rectangle, ABCD. I want to drag side CD down, leaving line AB in position, and stretching lines BC and DA. If I drag a side of the rectangle, the entire object moves. When I convert to lines, and select a line, I can move either endpoint, or grab the line in the center and move it, but the ...
