Re: Scripts
Happy New Year to you too Eric! Some of my drawings are necessarily very detailed with lots of dimensions, often at odd angles, so I have to use both inside arrows and outside arrows. There is not usually space for the dimension to be above the dimension line. And I need diameters, radii etc - see e...
Scripts
Hi Eric I've been trying without success to write a script to draw an autosize line to use for dimensioning. My RealBasic skills are pretty bad! What I want to do is draw a line perpendicular to a first line across to a second line, have it put an arrow at each end, work out the line length and inse...

Re: list of suggestions
The top left corner of the screen has always been 0:0 on mac programs – so x to the right is positive and y down is positive. Like we, in the western world at least, read a book from top left down to bottom right!
Parallel
Reading the post by Mikerosen on the iPocket board – the Parallel command is also a bit confusing in RealCADD. If you draw a vertical line from top to bottom, then parallel "left" goes to the right. If you draw the line bottom to top, then parallel "left" indeed goes to the left....

Re: Beta version of RealCADD 4.20
I have opened your dxf file with RealCADD (and iPocket Draw) and I don't see any red line. Do you have seen this problem with this file? Wow – that is VERY odd! Yes, I opened the DXF file I sent you with my version 4.20 and there were red lines on each dimensional arrow. If I open it with 4.10, it ...

Re: Beta version of RealCADD 4.20
One thing I have found is that the new version opens DXF (translated from ClarisCad) drawings differently. Version 4.10 is very good and once the scaling is sorted out, the drawings are pretty much usable apart from a bit of tidying up. Version 4.20 seems to add in a 45º red line grouped with every ...

Re: Beta version of RealCADD 4.20
I meant to say that the link you provide doesn't seem to work – I found the new beta version at http://www.adx-online.com/RealCADD.zip 4.20 has worked flawlessly so far (on Mac OS 10.6). Not over keen on the big blue dots when you select more than one object – but I can easily live with it! :D And I...
