Re: list of suggestions
The top left corner of the screen has always been 0:0 on mac programs – so x to the right is positive and y down is positive. Like we, in the western world at least, read a book from top left down to bottom right!
Parallel
Reading the post by Mikerosen on the iPocket board – the Parallel command is also a bit confusing in RealCADD.
If you draw a vertical line from top to bottom, then parallel "left" goes to the right. If you draw the line bottom to top, then parallel "left" indeed goes to the left. Similarly with a ...

Re: Beta version of RealCADD 4.20
I have opened your dxf file with RealCADD (and iPocket Draw) and I don't see any red line.
Do you have seen this problem with this file?
Wow – that is VERY odd! Yes, I opened the DXF file I sent you with my version 4.20 and there were red lines on each dimensional arrow. If I open it with 4.10 ...

Re: Beta version of RealCADD 4.20
One thing I have found is that the new version opens DXF (translated from ClarisCad) drawings differently. Version 4.10 is very good and once the scaling is sorted out, the drawings are pretty much usable apart from a bit of tidying up. Version 4.20 seems to add in a 45º red line grouped with every ...

I meant to say that the link you provide doesn't seem to work – I found the new beta version at http://www.adx-online.com/RealCADD.zip

Re: Library
Thanks Eric – I've got it now! Very easy.
Library
I haven't used the library much, but I'm now just starting to. But I don't quite understand how best to put items into the library.
Say I am drawing a boat sailplan. I draw a specific item – say a mastband or a sheave block. Now I want to move those items into the library so that I can use them on ...
