Wow!
What else can I say
It works perfectly! And it happened so quickly too!
Thank you Eric.

Re-joining
Hi Eric I know I've mentioned this before, but I do think it would be a great addition to the tool kit on RC: The ability to re-join a polycurve that has been unjoined. This is especially useful when you have several long polycurves close to each other as you do in yacht design. Like this: Screen Sh...

Re: New beta version of RealCADD 4.31
It's great Eric!
There's one little tiddly thing that would make it absolutely perfect (for me that is ): re-joining an unjoined polyline/ploycurve. I'll start a new thread!
Many thanks
George

Re: Line thickness
I'm not really fussed about line thickness on the screen increasing with zoom – to me it's natural that as you magnify things, they look bigger. But I quite like the new situation (in RC) that a thin line stays thin on the screen when you zoom – so I normally have "Zoom path width" deselec...

Re: Line thickness
Hi Mike Eric added the "Zoom path width" function at your request. It is to do with zoom (magnification) not scale or resize. Originally and correctly if you selected a line width (say 0.5 point) it stayed at that width whatever your zoom – so as you magnified the drawing it appeared to ge...

Re: Line thickness
Preferences >> General >> Zoom path width.
Check it and the path width is magnified when you zoom and should print true to size.
Leave it un-checked and the path width does not get apparently bigger as you zoom, but may tend to print very thin.
Cheers!

Re: New beta version of RealCADD 4.31
Hi Eric Rescale on pasting option is really great! As is the align to a locked object – many thanks for implementing those. My sort of drawing rarely calls for the use of the grid, but I tried it out of course! – and zooming outside the drawing – excellent! And I see that Action >> Scale has been re...

Re: Zoom misbehavior?
If I read your post correctly, you set up a drawing size of 10" x 8" and a paper size of 10" x 8" – all good! But then instead of drawing within your "drawing size rectangle" you drew elsewhere – outside the drawing. This is like having your of paper all set up on your ...

Re: Zoom misbehavior?
Hi Mike With RC (and most other Mac based 2D CAD programs) you really do have to set your drawing size as a starting point. And draw at a scale so that everything will fit on the drawing. Otherwise you are going to get printing, scaling and zooming difficulties. The drawing size is not the same as t...
