Re: Scroll bars
For me being able to select to have the scroll bars always there if the page extends beyond the screen is a great improvement! I have been having real trouble with them flicking on and off as I move the mouse over the scroll area. Many thanks for the change 😁 DXF is indeed much better – the old 25.5...

Re: Lock in perpendicular
Actually Eric, I've just realized something!
You don't have to do Shift + P (three keys). You can just do Shift P.
That's quite easy – no problem at all. It was contorting your fingers to get all three keystrokes that was the problem.
Leave it how it is

Problem with DXF
Hi Eric. I have a drawing that saves to DXF ok but won't reopen back to RealCADD. I have to force quit. In fact it won't open from DXF in FreeCAD, which I downloaded to test to see if it's a RealCADD opening DXF problem or general – it would seem it's a general problem with the saved DXF somewhere I...

Lock in perpendicular
Is it possible sometime to make an easier set of keystrokes to lock in a perpendicular? Shift + P is not a very easy combination on an English keyboard (at least for a right-handed mouse user, using their left hand for the keystrokes) – I can see that it perhaps works bit better on a French keyboard...

Scroll bars
Hi Eric In Mac System Preferences >> General I have the scroll bar setting "Show scroll bars >> Always" However the scroll bars in RealCADD only seem to materialize when I mouse over where they should be, not there all the time – or at least when the zoom is such that the drawing is bigger...

Moving objects
Hey Eric! One thing I've noticed is that you can no longer make a drawing scroll by dragging an object to the right or bottom edge of the window – or indeed drawing something (line, spline etc.) that needs to extend beyond the window. You can still make the window scroll back to the left or up to th...

Re: Selection tool action
Hi Eric
I've probably used the wrong word. I mean the dashed box that you draw as you drag the selection tool - like a rectangular lasso
It was called the "selection marquee" in ClarisCAD, so I've always used that term!

Selection tool action
Hi Eric It seems to me that with v.20 d6 and d7, the action of the selection tool has changed. A simple click on an object seems much as ever. But drawing a marquee seems very different. At first, when you draw a marquee, nothing happens - no marquee appears. But if you hesitate, or pause with the m...
