Re: RealCADD 4.21b4

Hi Eric Just one thing I don't like! The intersection attraction to a line seems to not be fully functional. In previous versions when, for example, I drew a new line (L3) perpendicular from one line (L1) to a second line (L2) a little 's' cursor appeared when L3 exactly intersected L2 and it snappe...

Re: Architectural Walls

You can't exactly draw walls (like you could in ClarisCad for example) and then join them, cut them etc. But you can do pretty much the same thing by using the "parallel" tool and then the "line" tool if you want a single straight wall, or the "polygon" tool if you want...

Re: how to stretch a rectangle by mouse operation?

Hi Kasper What I do to stretch a rectangle by a fixed amount or to a fixed point is to draw a line from the (say) top corner of the rectangle using attraction so the line starts exactly on the corner. Then if you drag the rectangle from the top corner to the end of the line (attraction E) you can ex...

Re: RealCADD 4.21b3

Thanks Eric.

The extra textures and hatches are great. And – experimenting with them I've finally learned how to edit them, which for some reason eluded me before :)

Re: RealCADD 4.21b3

I've now seen the opacity control on line and background fill – very nice!

Re: RealCADD 4.21b3

Hi Eric I've downloaded it and it all seems fine so far. Is there anything new to look for from 21b2? Two things would be good to have one day: Better curves, B-spline etc. The ability to draw a polygon through a series of points (or attractions) and then smooth it to a curve that passed through tho...

Re: Accuracy

Hi Eric Thanks for the explanation. Now I think about it, of course it must be like this. So it was a pretty stupid question! Personally I like the arrangement just as it is with the ability to select a range of decimal points in all units. For some reason I work in mm with four places of decimals d...

Accuracy

Hi Eric When I draw full size drawings to send off as DXF files, I draw a 1000 x 100 rectangle on them so that the receiver can check that the drawing has opened at the correct scale (because they don't always). I have noticed that if I draw a 1000mm line and a 100mm line, then close the file, when ...

A few requests and questions!

Hi Eric A couple of questions: I see there is "fusionner" in the action menu. I was thinking that this was the equivalent of the old clariscad 'join' command, whereby if you selected one line on a set of connected lines it zapped along until it found an unconnected line. Very useful for ma...
