Re: Inserted characters
You are absolutely right! I didn't realize that I had "Use Quartz" de-selected. It wasn't intentional. With Quartz selected it is all fine. Many thanks. George

Inserted characters
Hi Eric This is very minor – but on earlier versions I could insert characters from the character viewer (like an inverted Delta = ∇ = volume of displacement) into text and they were fine. On 4.21b2 inserted characters (both in an older drawing or a new drawing) show up as question mark. When you ar...

Re: RealCADD 4.21b1
OK - so 8000 produces 8 and 9000 produces 9. And I think .008 produced .000008 or something - but it looked like 1 - but it was actually 1 x e-6.
I think I'll go back to 4.20 just for the moment ..... Productivity has taken a dive into very small numbers!
Best

Re: RealCADD 4.21b1
Hi Eric Actually I do seem to have a bug with parallel lines. If I put in, say, 800mm, when I click the line to make a parallel line, it goes to 0.8mm. If I click again it seems to go to 0.008mm. Then if I click again it goes to 8mm. Then another click makes it go to 1mm. Then 0.001mm and so on. So ...

Re: Handles
Making it so the handles were a few pixels away from the actual extremities of the object or group of objects would seem to be an excellent way to do it - then all there control points should be accessible!
Handles
Hi Eric – Another question! Sorry! Is there a way to dispense with handles? When a handle is right on top of a control point it gets very difficult to manipulate the control point (say on an irregular polygon of some sort) without moving the whole polygon. I've tried setting the handles temporarily ...
