Re: Auto-size line
Hi Eric That works very well – I had tried forever to write a script that would do the job! With no success at all. It's not quite as flexible as an autosize line, which changes the dimension if you trim or extend the line, but it does the job excellently! :D I edited the script for my usual dimensi...

Centre of area
Hi Eric One thing I have meant to ask you, is it possible for RealCADD to calculate the centre of area of a closed shape (regular and irregular)? Like an irregular polygon, or an object made from poly-lines. I have to work out the weight and centre of gravity of every piece of structure, which is ve...

Auto-size line
Hi Eric Realcadd is so good now (for what I do anyway) that there's almost nothing else left on the "wish list"! :D One thing that I really would like to see is an Auto-size Line feature – preferably on the Attributes pane with all the other line features. This would insert the line length...

Re: RealCADD 4.40
Hi Mike!
You have to scroll to the bottom of the page to the link: Download page of RealCADD
How is the start of winter treating you? It feels colder here than usual, but that may be because I've been in England for six weeks or so!

Hi Eric
Yes release it quickly – I'm back home!!

Re: Special select
Hi Eric It seems to be almost perfect now and behaving as it should! One teeny little thing ... groups still can't select by colour – if you select Group, then it selects all grouped objects regardless of colour. Maybe that's too complicated and/or not a good idea anyway, as groups could contain man...

Special select
Hi Eric Just a question – How is Edit > Special select supposed to work? In a drawing with rectangles, ovals, polygons and lines both as separate objects differently coloured, and grouped: If I select Some > Group: nothing selects If I select Some > Group > Pen color Red: nothing selects If I select...

Re: Pasting anomaly again
Perfecto Eric! Works just as it should :D I tried both the 10.6 version and the >10.6 version (all on 10.10.1) and they are both good. I'm using the >10.6 version, which I assume is correct? Good that it's sorted. Many thanks. George PS Now I also understand maxi-10.6 and sup-10.6! I must be a bit d...

Re: Pasting anomaly again
Hi Eric I downloaded 4.40 – there are two Mac versions available: maxi-10.6 and sup-10.6. Is there a difference? The pasting anomaly doesn't seem to be totally fixed! I drew a 100 x 100 square at 1:1 and copied and pasted it to a 1:10 drawing. If you paste ⌘V and select Yes you get a perfect result ...

Pasting anomaly again
Hi Eric The pasting anomaly when you paste with ⌥⌘V (as per earlier post) also has another problem. If you paste from a drawing with one scale to a drawing with a different scale, RealCADD very nicely asks you if you want to change the object to the scale of the second drawing – which is a great fea...
