RealCADD and iPocket Draw

Yes only texts work.
For picture, you have to use the "Import picture" menu in "File".
If the picture is a true vectorial PICT, RealCADD can find objects in PICT file.

You can copy and paste text when you edit it.
The clipboard can just be used with standard objects : texts, pictures.
The clipboard and other software don't know my own objects.

1) Why don't you use the dimension tool?
With it, you can have only a line (with arrows if you want) by setting L1 = 0 and L2 = 2 (if L2 chosen) and the dimension but not centered.
