Re: Zoom in, zoom out
Hi Mike: Didn't mean to teach my grandmother how to suck eggs! Maybe that is a Englishism?? I've never really used the Esc key for anything – only Force Quit, a forced restart, and similar last resort stuff. Bit like the Ctr-Alt–Delete in Windows. None of the programs I have had, really used it at a...

Re: Zoom in, zoom out
By the way Mike, you can create all sorts of shortcuts using System Preferences >> Keyboard >> Shortcuts >> App Shortcuts E.G. I have: Action->Align->Left set to ⌥L Action->Align->Right set to ⌥R I think that for menu items that have a screen icon like "Zoom in" you can just enter the exac...

Re: Copy and Paste
Hi Eric
OK – that's why I can copy and paste much more between older programs on my old mac, running Classic. What a pain – it was very convenient even though PICT had some limitations. Useful features always seem to get upgraded out ...
Never mind – and thank you for checking it out.

Re: Zoom in, zoom out
Mike: Go to System Preferences >> Keyboard >> Shortcuts >> App Shortcuts and create a shortcut for RealCADD so that Zoom is ⌘= See screen shot below: Screen Shot 2014-08-28 at 01.03.45.png Then it works without the use of the shift key. I didn't really understand the post about the ESC key ... George

Re: Palettes; Scale
Hi Simon Welcome to another ex-ClarisCad user! I promised Eric I would write an English RealCADD manual, which of course I will – finding the time is the problem at the moment! But as Eric says, ask away on the forum and Eric, or one of us users will answer. RC is a great program IMHO :D Cheers – Ge...

Re: Copy and Paste
Hi Eric I know I can import a PICT picture OK. But even if the picture in the clipboard is a PICT image, I can't import it into RC directly from the clipboard – at least I don't think I can ???? I have to paste it into something first and save it as a PICT file, which means using an intermediate pro...

Re: Copy and Paste
Bonsoir Eric! I can copy and paste text OK. But pictures don't seem to work. Here is an image of the clipboard with a picture in it: Picture 1.png But this won't paste into RC. The actual item in the clipboard is a picture (as a PICT file I guess). It would paste into ClarisCad Ok and the curve – wh...

Copy and Paste
Hi Eric One thing that would be very good is to be able to Copy and Paste to RealCADD from other programs and from RealCADD to other programs. At the moment Copy & Paste in the RC environment seems to be restricted to to and from other RC files. It seems that RC doesn't use the Mac'c clipboard? ...
