Rotating
Hi Eric! I'm having a little trouble with Duplicate & Move >> Circular. I am rotating a centreboard -55º. I select -55º and Rotate copies. I select 1 time(s). On next click. I click on the rotation point and it is perfect. Rotated centreboard is exactly where it should be with a 35º attack angle...

Re: Transparency
Hi Eric I realize that all I need to do is to click the Enter button! I was changing the transparency and then just clicking on the page. My original problem was on a drawing that crashed and, after I retrieved it, the transparencies would not work properly. I can't replicate the problem now – in fa...

Re: Transparency
Update: I think I'm wrong – as long as you select the transparency after you have selected the tool (say circle) but before you draw it, then everything is OK. What you can't do is to change the transparency once you have drawn an object, which is what I was trying to do

Transparency
HI Eric There seems to be something a little odd with transparency. If you fill an object (say a circle) and then set the transparency to, say, 10% – that works fine. But after that you can't set the transparency to anything but 10% – neither for the original objects or the new objects, or whatever ...

Hi Eric No problems so far! Parallel rounded rectangles is great - thank you :D With Action >> Align >> Vertical Centre (or Horizontal Centre) it would be very nice if you could use the Action >> Lock to lock one item so that the other would align to the centre of it, rather than both items moving t...

Rounded rectangles
Hi Eric
One other small thing – is it possible to make it so that when you draw a parallel to a rounded rectangle the radii also expand or contract as parallels? At the moment the rectangle expands or contracts according to the parallel amount but the corner radii stay the same.

Re: Angular dimensions
Oh! In all the time I have been using RealCADD I have never looked at the Tool >> Options for angular dimensions!! I think this probably comes under the heading of Operator Error :D. I had indeed assumed that they were set in the general Preferences >> Dimensions menu Now I see it, it seems quite re...

Angular dimensions
Hi Eric One other thing I have noticed: Whatever you set preferences to (either general and dimensions), angular dimensions seem to display 4 figures of decimals, even with general and dimensions set to no decimal places – or indeed five or six decimal places. Linear dimensions do exactly as they sh...

transparency
Hi Eric One thing I have found is that if you give a texture transparency (say 50%) and then do a save, then close, when you re-open the file, transparency has reverted to 100%. Same applies to hatches. A way around this is to convert the texture or hatch to lines, then apply transparency, then grou...
