Mike, If you divide the line to place perpendicular lines, you can do different : Don't divide the line, place a first perpendicular at the beginning of it and call the command "Move" and then the command "Duplicate and move" if you have other parallel lines. Because I started us...

I will add this.
For rectangles and ellipses, if dx = dy then if one is changed by the user in the Attributs screen, the second will have the same value.
But if the second is changed manually too, the values will be different.
