iPocket Draw 3.10

Post by Eric Pousse »

Bonjour,

iPocket Draw 3.10 has just been validated by Apple.

The news are :
- Radius and diameter dimensioning tool works on circular arcs
- Addition of "Measure", "Lasso", "Zoom" and "Scissors" tools
- With the selection rectangle (Arrow tool), distinction between an "In" (from left to right) and "In/Cut" (from right to left) selection
- If several objects are selected, possibility to switch from one to another in the editing palette
- Popup menus Tools if no selection and Action if selection
- Predefined line thicknesses
- Keyboard commands on iPad
- Dashes up to 4 data (length + space) instead of 2 before
- Various other small improvements and bug fixes.

Eric,

With the new version of IPocket Draw, I am having problems with alignments. I used to click on the corner of a rectangle, for example, and the cursor would change to a bullseye, and I could align the corner with the corner of another object and it would jump to the alignment if I got close. Now if I click and hold on the object, there is a pop-up menu which comes up quickly (I like this a lot for many applications, but not this one). Is there a way to get the alignment feature for movements which is not so time sensitive? I find myself resizing, etc if I don’t click in exactly the right spot for the right amount of time.

Love all the new capabilities of the new version. This one is just hampering me because I used it all the time.

Best,
David

Bonjour David,

Try this :
- Go into the settings of your iPad or iPhone
- Select Accessibility => Touch => Haptic Touch
- Choose "Slow" for the touch duration

I find it is better but you have to move quickly.

Say me if it is better for you too like this.

Cordialement.
