I seem to have lost my keyboard tool selection (l=line, m=parallel, mm=cutting tool, etc.)
Did I turn them off by mistake, somehow? I'm using 5.11 on Big Sur 11.6.
Merci.

Re: Lost quick tool selection
Mike, I don't have this problem.
Did you tried some times, aie-th relaunching RealCADD, macOS?
Does this occur each time, some times?

Re: Lost quick tool selection
The shortcut keys have stopped working, again. I'm still using 5.11 on Big Sur. I have restarted both the app and the computer, multiple times. I tried going to the link for the 5.2 beta, but I got a 404.
EDIT: I just went back to a new drawing. The shortcut keys didn't work, as I said. But then, I let the palette expand, and close again. The shortcuts worked. So, I don't know what's causing it, but if this continues to work as a temporary fix, I'm good with it.
Further checks: It's definitely related to changing tools. After I use a tool, the shortcuts are frozen until I expand/close the tool palette. Just mousing up to it does the trick; then I can use the keyboard to select the tool I want. But that double action sort of destroys the purpose of the shortcuts, no?

Bonjour Mike,
Yes this solution is not good.
Can you take a screen shoot when you use RealCADD to show me how you have configured it, please?
Cordialement.

Re: Lost quick tool selection
Eric,
I'm sorry, I must have missed this. I am now using 5.20 on Monterey 12.3.1, and still have the problem. I have to mouse over the tools palette, allowing it to fly out and return, before I can use the keyboard to switch tools. However, once I've used the arrow tool, I lose the keyboard selection, again.
What would you like a screen shot of?
