Hi GeorgeK

Honestly I wouldn't worry about using beta versions – I've been doing it (testing new versions etc) for years now with RealCADD – it is usually very reliable in beta and quite safe.

But you can also fix the problem (until b6 is official) by cutting the lines you want to chamfer/fillet – either with the Cutting tool (keystroke mm) or the Cut and extend tool (keystroke u), set to "Extend and cut", with "Second line also" checked – before doing a chamfer/fillet.

And if you make "Display attraction names" active, provided you drag from and end point or a middle point to an end point or middle point, the chamfer/fillet will also be where you want it.

Not perfect I know ....

Welcome to the forum!
