I have a small problem printing to PDF.
My drawings are A3 Landscape. My A3 size in Page Setup is set to Width 297 x Height 420 (margins all zero).
To set it to landscape I normally select the Landscape icon and set the drawings size to Width *1, Height *1 (so the drawing is quite correctly 420 x 297). So far so good!
But when I come to use the Print function to make a PDF it won't recognize that the page has been turned to Landscape and creates two Portrait pages.
I can fix it by creating a new A3 in Page Setup set to Width 420 x Height 297 and then selecting the Portrait icon. I then get a nice single Landscape A3 PDF.
I don't know if this is a RealCADD 4.71 problem or a problem with RC interfacing with OS 10.13.1. It could be the latter because I tried an older version (4.60) and the same thing happens. Other programs (like Pages) seem to work OK and recognize Portrait/Landscape selection.
Cheers -- George

Re: PDF problem
Bonjour George,
I can't reproduce this problem.
I have one A3 landscape page directly.
But I am always with Sierra.
I will test later with High Sierra.
Cordialement.

Re: PDF problem
Hi Eric
That is indeed very strange. It must be something in my system somewhere.
If I do this My A3 drawing looks like this (A 3 Landscape - just as it should be) But it makes a PDF like this
If I change the setup so that A3 is defined as Width 420, Height 297 and select Portrait – the drawing is A3 Landscape and the PDF is A3 Landscape!
I've not had this problem until now – so I guess it must be something to do with 10.13 – that's the only real change that has occurred. I only have one printer attached to my system (a rubbishy Canon MP470 A4 size printer) because I don't print drawings any more. I wonder if that is causing the problem somehow. I always simply use "Any Printer" for Page Setup.
At least there is a workaround, so it's not critical .... I just bugs me that I can't discover why ...

Re: PDF problem
Hi Eric
I seem to have fixed it!
I removed all the system printers.
With no printers at all, it created a PDF perfectly properly from a realCADD drawing.
Then I added back the only printer that I have and it continues to create a PDF just as it should (Landscape when Landscape is chosen etc)
So it must have been some conflict that happened when my computer updated to 10:13 - and I guess perhaps unique to the Canon printer driver and its interface with RealCADD.
Anyway - it's all good now
Many thanks for all your help.
My best wishes for 2018.
