Thank you.

Hi Eric

OK – here's what I've found – how am I doing? :D

–– Rotating Arcs problem (via iPocket Draw): Fixed

–– Align problem (doesn't always work to start with): Fixed

–– Poor rendering of arcs etc when saving to PDF: Fixed (I think??)

-- Nudge separated from Snap grid: Excellent, big improvement, thank you – only criticism is that it's a bit faint; took me a while to see it! Maybe harden the box up a bit??

-- Rectangles and Rounded rectangles: Now can be adjusted from bounding rectangle or from centre. Super.

-- Ovals/Circles: same format as Rectangles – took me a minute to realize that adjustment from centre was by diameter (width and height) rather than radius. But fine once I got used to it.

–– Radius and Diameter dimensioning: Great addition. Love the ability to customize.

–– Preferences can be saved as default: Excellent. Only comment is that the Save as default box doesn't stay checked, though the defaults do stay OK.

–– Edit Line thicknesses can specify a default thickness: Great!

–– Edit Text sizes can specify a default text size: Again great!

–– Save as RealCADD model: I love it  Hugely useful.

I think that's all so far ......

Be really nice to improve the rendering of Text (I know some people are never satisfied ....). And regular polygons??

And could the "Text with line tool" be simplified so it is a simple group (like radius, diameter, measure and dimensions) so that it can be ungrouped if necessary. At the moment the line is a polygon grouped with text, which is a bit complicated to undo if needed.

And one final little thing - the Rotation tool has two little dots after it, indicating that there is a options menu available - but there isn't!

Cheers -- George

Bonjour George,

You found almost all... rectangles, round rectangles and ovals can now have an angle of rotation and be always rectangle, round rectangles and ovals.
But intersections with rotated ovals are calculated with the associated polygons and that is less accurate.

I don't have work on texts...It is a very big work.

For regular polygon or other objects or groups, you can resized them as regular polygon :
- Select object(s)
- hold down the option key to keep blue round handles visible
- if not visible, move the cursor on the objet
- hold down the keys option and shift, drag a blue round handle.

Thanks
Eric Pousse
