Bonjour,
I think that this beta version (macOS) is very near to the final version 5.00
RealCADD 5.00b4
On this version, hatches and textures work on rectangle, round rectangle and ellipse with angle.
Perpendicular line too and tangente on ellipse with angle.
And the tool "Cut line" also.
And some bugs have been fixed.
Thanks for your support !

Re: New beta version of RealCADD 5.00
All great - except I've just come across a bug
Action >> Length, area and center doesn't seem to work properly.
When you draw a polygon of less than 100 sides, it doesn't find the centre of area (used to be a black dot).
With a polygon over 100 sides, it finds a centre of area (hopefully the correct one) but the Length, Perimeter and Area are way too big by a factor of something like 80 times
All v5's have this problem - I just haven't used the function for a while.
I think the Edit panel shows the correct figures (Length, Perimeter, Area) – and for polygons over 100 sides it shows Area as NAN as it used to.
Cheers -- George

Re: New beta version of RealCADD 5.00
Good evening!
Downloaded. Problem fixed
I see there's now no difference between polygons with less than 100 sides and those with more? No black dot for <100, which personally I think is preferable. That way you always use the menu item to find the centre of area etc.
But I noticed something else ....
The Pencil tool causes an immediate crash when you try to start drawing with it. Vectorized or not. It also draws differently – more like a lasso.

Oups !
I found the bug for the pencil.
For polygon, I don't know if it is better with or without the back dot for the center.
The limit of 100 sides was for speed.
Thanks

Hi Eric
Personally - just me - I think it's as good or better without the black dot. You don't always need to know the centre of area of a polygon, in fact for a lot of users probably rarely - but the tool is there to find it if you do.
