Bonjour,

A new beta is available : RealCADD 5.10b5

I have worked more on rich text to have less differences between texts drawn and texts edited.
But now, it could be now have some differences with old files opened with 5.10b5 and 5.04 on texts with many lines.

And George, take a look on dimension tool...

Thanks for feedbacks!

Love the dimension tool change – perfect - thank you very much

There are a few misalignments with the new text on older drawings - nothing too bad though.

But very strange if you type "Offsets" – or even misspell it "Offstets". You get "Offs0" and then this!

offsets.jpg (133.65 KiB) Viewed 7740 times
Which is pretty funny!!

Trouble is I use the word "Offsets" a lot!

Cheers -- George

Edit: Font size has also gone a bit odd. Despite selecting 9 as the default (for example), When you come to type text it changes to all sorts of different sizes (3 ... 5 ... 8 ... 14 ...). Seems to be quite random, some of which aren't even in the list of font sizes (like 3 ... 5...). And I can't seem to stop it doing it!!

Bonjour George,

I found the bug with Offsets.
Can you explain more the problem with the font size, please?

Cordialement.

Hi Eric

This demonstrates it

Font size 9 is the default font. When you select the text tool it shows 9 quite correctly. But when you start to type it changes – in this case to 13... but it can be pretty much any size (3... 5... 14... etc etc.)

Cheers -- George

PS After I'd posted, I tried typing various versions of Offsets – it seemed actually to be "fs" it didn't like. Odd sort of bug!!!

Thank you George for the video.

And yes, it is fs which causes the bug not Offsets.
Because in RTF data, fs is the size of the font and the size of the font is updated with the zoom when a text is edited.
So I modify the RTF data before and after edit the texts by searching "fs".
So I will verify more what is before and after "fs".

Cordialement.

Hi Eric

Seems perfect now

Edit 18:44 – actually it's still playing up with all sorts of font sizes much like it did before. Offsets – fs – is fine now though

See here Text window said 9, but when I typed it looked smaller. After typing text window still said 9, even when selected. But when I selected over the whole text block, Text window changed to 6. Then I could make it 9 by selecting 9 in the text window.
