Layers lock, opacity and color

About layers: how locking a single layer? How setting the opacity of a single layer? Why, when i deselect the color, objects don’t return to their original color?

Bonjour Angelo,
Layers can not be locked and they don't have opacity property.
If you set the color of a layer, the original color of objects is loosed.
