Hi Eric
When using the curved line tool I mostly don't get a curved line, or if I do it is somewhat jerky and doesn't pass through the points I want it to pass through. As below:
The top red line is the curve and it should pass through all the top points of the various angled lines, as can be seen from the control points.
Is there a way I can increase the sensitivity so that the curve can follow the locations of the control points?
George

Re: Curves
Bonjour George,
Can you send to me your example?
I want to see what can do the spline tool in that case.
Thanks.

Re: Curves
Yes George, I have take a look on your drawing.
I think that there is a bug in my spline calculation when, like in your case, the points are almost aligned.
I will check that.
Thanks

Re: Curves
Bonjour George,
I have found the bug and fix it.
You can try with the new beta version of RealCADD 4.31.
Other little changes :
- in some cases, pallets could disappear or move, it is fixed
- some preferences of text tool (bold, italic, underline and position) was not stored in prefs, it is fixed
- a new preference to zoom or not the path of the drawing has been added.
Thanks for feedback.

Re: Curves
The curves are a huge improvement Eric – thanks a million – I loaded up the drawing that I sent you and they are now perfect and exactly as they should be!!! And I tried a few more – also perfect.Eric Pousse wrote:Bonjour George,

The choice to zoom paths or not is a very nice option.
Many thanks
