Bonjour,
RealCADD 5.52b3 is now available.
Activating or deactivating all attractions works with all pallet letters (2 x g, e, c, i, p, t).
There are 4 new tools:
- To draw break lines,
- To draw round section ends,
- To draw clouds (previously available as a script),
- and a first version of a wall tool.
These tools can only be accessed via the tools pallet.
They are not yet added to the "Tools" menu.
Wall tool settings are not saved when you quit RealCADD.

Wow Eric!
The wall tool is looking good! I'm sure you have it in mind but this feature is very desirable, open tee or open cross as a selectable option, rather than having to go about it in a complicated way (converting to lines etc):
At the moment, you can only hatch or fill walls with end caps – which I can see is logical given that they are basically polygons. With a hatch or texture you can fill the wall and then convert it to lines and remove the end caps if wished. It would be nice if a wall was an 'entity' so it could be filled or hatched etc. at will. But given that they are polygon based, they may not be practical? Maybe on open ended walls, there could be end caps, but invisible – is invisible possible? – 0% saturation?
Just a minor point, holding the shift key while selecting the wall tool doesn't select for single or continuous drawing as with the other tools.
As an aside, with the cloud tool, which is great fun, while you can't fill it, you can approximate a fill by using a hatch or texture set very small and thin lines. You can do the same with a wall – draw it with end caps – hatch - convert wall to lines and remove end caps, approximating a fill.
The broken line is nice too! I often have had to make one to indicate something specific. Not quite sure where one would use the round section tool?
Cheers – and many thanks for the ongoing development –– George
